Filipino boxing champ Manny Pacquiao has a new battle ahead ? and it?s not his upcoming fight against Timothy Bradley in Las Vegas.
Pacquiao is a facing a new lawsuit filed by a freight company.? According to courthousenew.com reports, SR Intel Freight claism that the Manny Pacquiao Foundation owes their company more than $35,000 in logistics services.
Entertainment news provider, TMZ reports that the logistics company was allegedly hired by the Manny Pacquiao Foundation to shipo several containers filled with relief goods to the Philippines back in 2009 following typhoon Ondoy.
Philippine authorities reportedly confiscated the boxes, after they found that they contained used clothing, rather than relief goods, a violation of Philippine law.
In the lawsuit, the company implies the Manny Pacquiao Foundation used the incident as an excuse to dodge the bill.
The shipping company is now demanding to be paid the full payment, plus interest.
