High Gas Prices Fuel Senate's Oil Debates (NPR)

Democrats say it's time to end billions of dollars in tax breaks for the
biggest oil companies. Republicans blocked a bill Tuesday night that would
have abolished those subsidies. GOP senators say it's time to expand domestic
drilling. But Democrats are expected to block that Republican legislation
Wednesday.
