A Light Switch That Holds Your Mail and Keys [Stuff We Like]

Jason Chen ?Instead of having a key rack and a mail holder next to your light switch, why not combine these three things into one single, space-saving object? That's what Wallplates aims to do.

The idea is genius. When you get in the door, you're gonna want to flip on a light, dump your keys and store some mail you got from the mailbox. This one Wallplates fixture handles all three.

Although this is just a Kickstarter project for now, it's almost guaranteed that the $35,000 target should be hit. If you pledge $15 or above, which is putting down money first for them to use to make the product, you'll get one when they launch. The more you pledge the more you get.

Best of all, this project doesn't look all that difficult to rig up yourself if you've got some time this weekend.
